I finally had to go shopping and spend a bunch of money on new clothes because I have officially grown out of all my normal pants for at least the next 4 months. Dang it.
I made BBQ meatballs Friday and they weren't as good as Mom's but what ever is?
Saturday I went to a baby shower for Garen's soon-to-be girl cousins- twins. All the cute baby girl stuff made me excited! Then I came home, had a visit from Georgie and some other friends, and went on a bike ride through town with Garen. It was fun but I obviously need to toughen up or something because I swear my rear was bruised afterward! After that we used Garen's sweet coupon card again to get Taco Time nachos and taco salad before we headed to the BYU-I competitive basketball championship game. Dallin and Derrick (Garen's brothers) were both on a team. Georgie was there and Garen's dad and littlest brother came. Sadly, they lost to the other team who was undefeated, BUT the cool part is that Dallin is the league's high scorer for the 2nd semester in a row (which I'm not sure I even knew until they announced it).
The boys after the game.^
Anyway then Sunday we got called to serve in Primary as the Valiant 9 teachers. Then we went to Rigby and had delicious dinner and Birthday CAKE! yum. It was Grandma Call's birthday and Dallin's was Wednesday... Oh! When we got home another little fish (named Amor) was dead. I don't know what he is doing to them, but Garen better be careful before they're all gone.
As far as my work, the kindergarteners at extended day are improving a ton all around and I don't get half as frustrated anymore. They're cute kids... All the kids at the gym are learning routines according to level because they have a little "mini meet" in April. Teaching routines is always rough. I don't have much patience for level 1s anyway but when this time rolls around... aaarrrggh! Haha but really I love the kids. There just something about their 30 second routines that is too hard for them to remember. The preteam kids are learning theirs pretty well though, and level 4s don't have to do routines because they're done competing for the season! I'll have to take some pictures (or videos) of the new stuff they're working on. They're pretty awesome.
