An Update, For Those Who Care...

Last weekend I went to Missoula for a meet I was coaching at. Our level 4s have improved TONS since their first meet just 5 weeks ago. Not one of them scored below a 32 all-around, and some got 34s and 35s. It was great and we coaches are dang proud of these little girls.

This week I have a belly. Yay! Just over the last few days it has just popped out. It's a little uncomfortable but I know it will be worse. I'm glad I finally look like something's in there, other than just some extra squish. I had a pre-schooler, two coaches, and a parent at the gym notice that I am definitely beginning to show. I guess that's a good thing. I am now almost 5 months along. In one week and a half (March 23) we will get to find out if it's a boy or a girl and I am soo excited. PS we need ideas for boys' names... just in case.

This week was also my 22nd birthday. I'm feeling like there's no way I'm that old. When did it happen?! 'Cause I'm pretty sure just last month I was a senior in high school... but I woke up today with a 4 year degree, a husband, and a belly... hmm...
Anyway it was a good day. I got flowers and a card with money from my family, Garen's mom took me out to eat and got me a super cute watch, had cookies to share with the girls at gym, and then ate pie and ice cream with friends over at our beautiful new apartment. All in all, it was a pretty good birthday, but mostly because my husband is so stinkin' awesome. He got me a book I've been wanting with several Jane Austen novels, some "I love you" notes around the house, flowers, a very cute card, bought and cooked the pie for all our friends to come over at the end of the day. Super good guy!

Garen has gone fishing a couple times in the last week or two when the weather was nice. He's really good at that fly fishing stuff and ties flies for it now and then too. He also bought a fish tank and a bunch of cool colorful sichlid fish. They are pretty cool looking although I try not to like them too much because I do think it's a little wierd the way he and his friends obsess over them. I helped name them all though and one named flounder looks like he's about to roll over and die. Sad.

Life goes on and it's all pretty good.
