baby DIY

The thing about 9-month-old babies is- they want to do everything you do... but just end up UNdoing everything you do. Lesson learned.

Just doing what Mommy's doing.

Story Time.
(sorry, no picture of this one)
Lainee always gets a bath and gets dressed before I do in the morning. One day last week, Lainee had her bath and thoroughly enjoyed it as usual. She normally plays really well on her own after a bath while I'm in the shower so this day, I left her to play with her toys and jumped in. I could hear Lainee talking and getting closer so I just assumed she had made her way into the bathroom (sometimes she'll sit on the rug and wait for me). Well I finished and turned around to turn off the water only to find... My dear sweet daughter standing outside the tub with her head and arms inside the curtain, reaching for the water, hair and sleeves wet, but face as happy as can be! Haha.

(Just thought I would add a picture of these pillow covers I made yesterday, before the bug "undoes" them.)

During the last month, here's what we've been up to...
(I promise we did have an Easter, but all the pictures are on the other camera once again... coming soon)
~Dallin and Amaree's wedding in Washington~

~Babysitting Lainee's buddy Lincoln~

~Lainee followed the kitty around while we helped plant the Blanchard garden~

~Garen built a new background for his big new fish tank~
Carved it from styrofoam and then painted it with cement.

Garen and Parker went all the way across the lake and back (I think it's about a  mile one way).

Playing with Aunt Megan's dollies.

Cousin Lane and Lainee chasing eachother around.

A wanna-be wreath that my little sister and I attempted to make for our Mother.
